Pandora Hearts Special Episodes (Pandora Hearts Omake) are extra episodes from an average duration of 4 minutes bundled with the Pandora Hearts anime DVD volumes. There were 9 of them, which aired from July 24, 2009 to March 25, 2010. Each DVD volume contained one of the Special Episodes. They were created as a benefit of purchasing the Pandora Hearts DVDs. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Okay okay, while I haven't read this yet, I'm just making this thread in advance because this is the final chapter according to MAL, the last chapter came out 2 days ago. Instead of making a new thread about it or posting in an old one I just made this. Wahhh, so it's finishing, I hope it's a spectacular ending. Might read the last 5 odd chapters in a row once it's released in English. Won't go too far back, I have a habit of remembering really good earlier parts to start off at if I start going back to look. , then the next thing you know I'm back at the late 80's or something. Pandora Hearts is a great manga, but I can’t say the same for the anime. IK this probably isn’t the best place to put this post in, but whatever. Anyways, here’s my reasons on why I’d like a reboot: 1. Aside from the music, the anime isn’t a very good adaptation. I’m currently watching the anime and reading the manga chapters that the anime adapts while watching, and to be honest, the changes are fine, but unnecessary. It would’ve been better if they just pulled straight from the manga. The changes are, thankfully, minimal. 2. The animation isn’t that good. Xebec produced the anime adaptation of Pandora Hearts, and to be honest, the anime doesn’t look that good. Yes, it’s faithful to Jun Mochizuki’s old art, but the animation, coloring, etc. aren’t that good. The anime came out in 2009, I expect better animation that what the anime had. 3. It has an anime original ending. I hate anime original endings. And apparently, Pandora Hearts’ anime has one. From what I’ve heard; the Pandora Hearts anime ends at Volume 8, Chapter 32. The manga goes up to Volume 24, Chapter 104, and thus, a ton of stuff wasn’t adapted. A shame, since the content after the anime is amazing. 4. I want my dad to experience this story. Yes, this last reason is very personal, but hear me out. Me and my dad watch anime, and I really want him to experience Pandora Hearts.
